Field test over any suitable course which allows vehicle to be driven at speeds to be used while spreading. 2. The handling and spreading of commercial fertilizers is a most severe operation with respect to metal corrosion. Establish a frequent, periodic preventative maintenance program to prevent rapid damage to spreading equipment. Proper cleaning, lubrication and maintenance will give you longer life, more satisfactory service and more economical use of your equipment.
