Installation Instructions

If it is not possible to vent cooking fumes and vapors to
the outside, the hood can be used in the non-vented
(recirculating) version, using the recirculating kit .
Fumes and vapors are recycled through the round grid.
Installation through the soffit / cabinet
Depending on your recirculating installation, take into con-
sideration the next diagram:

1. Measure and mark the centerline of the cabinet to the
soffit above.
2. Measure from the bottom of the cabinet to the
centerline of where the vent will come through the
soffit. Mark the location and use a saber saw or keyhole
saw to cut a 5¾" (14.6 cm) hole for the recirculating
grid.

3. Install the recirculating grid with the 2 provided screws.

Charcoal Filter Replacement

1. Remove the grease filters of the hood.

2. Evenly position the charcoal filter to the backside of the

grease filter.

3. Place 2 spring clips into the place (see image) to secure
the charcoal filter to the metal filter.
NOTE: The charcoal filters cannot be cleaned. Filters should
be replaced every 4-6 months (depending on hood usage).
