The M232 (formerly
E2261A) provides
completely independent RS-232
terminal interfaces. Each channel
has 13 programmable fixed data
rates from 75 baud to 38.4 Kbaud
and independently programmable
handshake modes: RTS/CTS and/or
DTR/DSR hardware handshakes,
XON/XOFF software handshake, or
n o n e . I n d e p e n d e n t
input/output buffers for each port.
