Settings
SIM card manager (dual SIM models)
Activate your SIM or USIM cards and customize the SIM card settings. Refer to
or USIM cards (dual SIM models)
On the Settings screen, tap Connections → SIM card manager.
• C alls: Select a SIM or USIM card for voice calls.
• T ext messages: Select a SIM or USIM for messaging.
• M obile data: Select a SIM or USIM card for data services.
• A daptive callback: Select a SIM or USIM card for making a call from your call logs,
messages, or notifications if the preferred SIM card does not match the last used SIM card.
• D ual SIM always on: Set the device to allow incoming calls from the other SIM or USIM
card during a call.
When this feature is enabled, you may incur additional charges for call forwarding
depending on the region or service provider.
Location
Change settings for location information permissions.
On the Settings screen, tap Connections → Location.
• L ocating method: Select a network to use for locating your device.
• I mprove accuracy: Set the device to use the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth feature to increase the
accuracy of your location information, even when the features are deactivated.
• R ecent location requests: View which apps request your current location information
and their battery usage.
• L ocation services: View the location services your device is using.
More connection settings
Customize settings to control other features.
On the Settings screen, tap Connections → More connection settings.
• N earby device scanning: Set the device to scan for nearby devices to connect to.
• P rinting: Configure settings for printer plug-ins installed on the device. You can search
for available printers or add one manually to print files. Refer to
information.
• V PN: Set up and connect to virtual private networks (VPNs).
