- Page 5 ETL-ES-Hadley-WH20 PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION ANTES DE LA INSTALACIÓN Use metal outlet box suitable for fan support (must support 35 lbs). Before attaching fan to outlet box, ensure the outlet box is securely fastened by at least two points to a structural ceiling member (a loose box will cause the fan to wobble).
- Page 6 ETL-ES-Hadley-WH20 MOUNTING BRACKET INSTALLATION INSTALACIÓN CON SOPORTE DE MONTAJE Remove the screws (1) from the bracket as shown above. Remove screws from motor bracket and mounting plate. Hang fan from Loosen (do not remove) the screws (2) from the bracket as shown above.

- Page 9 ETL-ES-Hadley-WH20 MOUNTING MONTAJE The decorative motor housing has two mating slots (1) and two mating holes (2). Position both slots on the motor housing directly under and in line with two screws in the mounting bracket (3). Lift the motor housing, allowing the two screws to slide into the mating slots.
- Page 10 ETL-ES-Hadley-WH20 BLADE INSTALLATION INSTALACIÓN DE LAS ALETAS Check the motor for plastic shipping stabilizer tabs (1), and remove them if they are present. Attach blade assembly to motor using the noise-dampening motor gaskets (2) and Attach blade brackets to blades using the blade bracket screws (1), metal motor screws provided.

Connect the blue wire from the switch housing, to the black wire from the light kit, and the white wire from the switch housing to the white wire from the light kit.

- Page 13 ETL-ES-Hadley-WH20 Install the glass (5) onto the light kit and tighten the washer (4) and nut (3) onto the bottom of glass. Make sure the ceiling fan pull chain is threaded through the side hole in the bottom of the glass. Place decorative cap (2) over the bottom of glass and secure by tightening decorative finial (1).
- Page 14 ETL-ES-Hadley-WH20 Assemble decorative fob and extension chains from hardware bag to fan pull chains by inserting end of chain into chain coupling. Confirm chains are held by lightly pulling both chains in coupling. ETL-ES-Hadley-WH20 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE Operation Turn on the power and check operation of fan. The pull chain controls the fan speeds as follows: 1 pull - high; 2 pulls - medium; 3 pulls - low; 4 pulls - off. Speed settings for warm or cool weather depend on factors such as room size, ceiling height, number of fans and so on. -

In some cases, these installation errors may be mistaken for defects.
