Install
Install the handset
1 The batteries are pre-installed in the handset. Pull the battery tape off from the
battery door before charging.
2 Place the handset on the base station to power up.
Note:
Charge the batteries for 16 hours before first use.
For more information on the battery icon status, see the User Manual.
Check the battery level
When the handset is off the base station/
charger, the icon indicates the battery
level:
Full (steady on)
Medium (flashing)
Low (empty)
When you see the empty battery icon and
hear an alert tone from the handset, the
battery level is low and needs recharging.
When the handset is on the base
station/charger, the battery icon keeps
flashing until charging completes.
When the charging completes, the
battery icon keeps steady on.
