- Page 3 6,200kg The KL85 hydraulic cutting head must be connected to Elpress hydraulic pump PS700 or P1000. The KL85 hydraulic cutting head cuts cooper or aluminium cables, with a 55 mm max. passage. Refer to capacities chart below. This head i supplied with a protection unit.
- Page 4 General safety instructions: Do not use cutting head for other purposes than the work for which they have been designed. The use of other hydraulic pumps then from Elpress may bring about considerable risks for personal injury. DO NOT USE THIS TOOL ON LIVE CABLES Maintenance and storage: Store your tools in a safe place.
- Page 5 Check that the cable is in the correct cutting position. Then operate the pump, so the blade moves regularly untill the cutting of cable is completed. (See instructions for the pump booklet). After use, wipe the tool carefully and replace it in its case. KL85 | INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE...
- Page 6 Keep the tool inside, in a ventilated warehouse. Avoid fast temperature changes, this can produce condensation. If the tool is not operating satisfactory in spite of proper handling, it must be sent to Elpress aut- horized service departments for service.
