Shooting options
Customise Camera to take unique photos or videos. Not all of the following options are
available in both still camera and video camera modes. The available options vary by mode.
Setting the flash
Tap → → Camera → Flash to set a flash option.
• O ff: Use this to turn the flash off.
• A uto: Use this to automatically use the flash. The flash fires when the subject or
background is dark.
• R ed-eye: Use this to prevent a red glow in a person's eyes.
• F ill in: Use this to always use the flash.
• S low Sync: Use this to keep details of the background.
• R ed-eye Fix: Use this to correct a red glow in a person's eyes.
Selecting a white balance setting
The colours of photos or videos depend on type or quality of the light source. Select white
balance settings for realistic colours of photos or videos.
Tap → → Camera or Video → WB (Light Source) and select a white balance setting.
• A uto WB: Use this to automatically set white balance.
• D aylight: Use this for sunny days.
• C loudy: Use this for cloudy days or in shadows.
• F luorescent_H: Use this under daylight fluorescent or 3-way fluorescent lights.
• F luorescent_L: Use this under white fluorescent lights.
• T ungsten: Use this under incandescent bulbs or halogen lamps.
• C ustom Set: Use this to set custom white balance.
