Use this menu to manually enter the URL
address of a website and access the website.
Clear cache
(Menu 4.4)
Use this menu to clear the cache, which is a
temporary memory site that stores recently
accessed web pages.
Profile settings
(Menu 4.5)
Use this menu to set up servers for the web
browser. Contact your service provider for
details about your setting options.
For each server, the following options are
available:
• Profile name: assign a name to the server
profile.
• Home URL: enter the address of your
homepage.
• Bearer: select a bearer for each type of
network address accessed.
• Proxy: select whether or not the phone uses
a proxy server to launch the web browser.
• GPRS settings: customise the GPRS
network settings:
When the proxy is set to Enable:
Proxy IP: enter the web gateway address.
Proxy port: enter the port number.
APN: enter the access point name of the
GPRS network gateway.
Login ID: enter the user ID.
Password: enter the password.
