Settings
• T ext-to-speech options:
– Preferred TTS engine: Select a speech synthesis engine. To change the settings for
speech synthesis engines, tap
– Speech rate: Select a speed for the text-to-speech feature.
– Listen to an example: Listen to the spoken text for an example.
• E nhance web accessibility: Set applications to install web scripts to make their web
content more accessible.
• S ound balance: Adjust the sound balance when using a dual headset.
• M ono audio: Enable mono sound when listening to audio with one earbud.
• T urn off all sounds: Mute all device sounds.
• A ssistant menu: Set the device to show the assistive shortcut icon that helps you access
functions supported by external buttons or features on the notification panel. You can
also edit the menu on the shortcut icon.
• T ap and hold delay: Set the recognition time for tapping and holding the screen.
• I nteraction control: Set an area of the screen to be excluded from touch inputs.

• M ake bug report: Collect information on the device and send it via email.
• D esktop backup password: Set a password to secure your backup data.
• S tay awake: Set the screen to remain on while you are charging the battery.
• P rotect SD card: Set the device to request a confirmation when reading data from a
memory card.
• U SB debugging: Activate USB debugging mode to connect your device to a computer
with a USB cable.
• I nclude bug reports in power menu: Set the device to display the bug reporting option
on the device's power menu.
• A llow mock locations: Allow mock locations and service information to be sent to a
Location Manager service for testing.
