Using the shooting mode

Various shooting modes are available with the camera. You can use then to customise your
photos and videos.
On the Apps screen, tap Camera → MODE.
Tap Manage mode to select the shooting modes to appear on the mode selection screen.
• A uto: Use this to allow the camera to evaluate the surroundings and determine the ideal
mode for the photo.
• P rogram: Use this to allow the camera to automatically adjust the shutter speed and
aperture value so that an optimal exposure value can be achieved.
• M anual: Use this to adjust the shutter speed and aperture value manually.
• P ro suggest: Take photos with one of the automatically suggested smart modes or by
applying pre-defined settings..
• B eauty face: Take a photo with lightened faces for gentler images.
• C ontinuous shot: Take a series of photos of moving subjects.
• K ids shot: Play a funny sound to get a kid's attention when shooting.
• S elfie alarm: Detect a face in a preset area and to take multiple photos automatically. You
can then select the best photo.
• L andscape: Take photos of blue skies and landscapes with richer colours.
• D awn: Take photos of the dawn sky in subtle colours.
• S now: Take brighter photos of snow scenery.
• M acro: Take photos of very close subjects.
• F ood: Take photos of food in more colourful tones.
• P arty/Indoor: Take crisp indoor photos.
• A ction freeze: Take photos of subjects moving at high speed.
• H DR(Rich tone): Take photos without losing details in bright and dark areas.
