  • Page 2 HP 50g The User Keyboard Key Assignments and User Mode The HP50g has far more functions than can be shown on the keyboard. Access to these functions is through menus and the CAT (Catalog) command. It can be very useful to add some of these functions to the keyboard. The ASN and STOKEYS commands assign functions to keys.

You can use the following codes like this: .0 or .1 is the unshifted key, .2 is the left-shifted key, .3 is the right-shifted key, .4 is the unshifted alpha key, .5 is the left-shifted alpha key, and .6 is the right-shifted alpha key.
  • Page 4 HP 50g The User Keyboard Easier Access to the Key Assignment Commands If you do not like typing the whole name of the commands ASN, STOKEYS, RCLKEYS and DELKEYS, every time you need to use them, you can find them in a list of commands. Press „° to reach the Program menu. Then type 1 and press %OK% to select the Modes menu.
