Congratulations on your choice of this ThermoTup™ Pitcher 1L by Tupperware for keeping
drinks warm or cold. Please read and follow carefully these instructions for use and care and you
will enjoy the high quality for many years.

Use a low temperature programme on your dishwasher to save energy and protect the environment.
Use
• Always wash your new product before first use.
• Before using the Pitcher for the first time, please check that the central disk in the base is firmly in place
and tighten it in a clockwise direction if necessary. Check again occasionally.
• There are three markings on the cover, which allow three actions.
1. To fill – put the middle symbol in line with the handle and the cover can be placed and removed
for filling.
2. To pour - put the cup symbol in line with the handle and tilt the pitcher, the cover will open
automatically and let the liquid flow.
3. To make the Pitcher liquid tight - twist the cover with the lock symbol in line with the handle.
• It's recommended to preheat by filling with hot (not boiling) water for warm drinks, or pre chill with cold
water for cold drinks to reduce risk of breakage of the glass liner.
• Do not overfill the Pitcher; leave 2 cm space at the top as the cover goes inside for the automatic opening
and closing.
• When the Pitcher is completely filled, bring the cup close to the pouring spout and handle the Pitcher
carefully to control the flow.
Cleaning guidelines
• Wash the inside with warm water and detergent and rinse well. Drain and leave to dry.
• Wipe the outside clean with a damp cloth.
• Do not immerse the Pitcher in water.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners or bleach.
• The cover can be placed in top rack of the dishwasher.
• Always store the Pitcher open. When the Pitcher has not been used for some time, rinse the liner with
warm water before use.
• Clean the liner periodically by filling with a mixture of warm water and sodium and leaving to soak.
• Rinse well.
Important safeguards
• The glass liner is fragile so handle with care and hold the Pitcher away from you when filling with hot liquid.
• To prevent damage to the glass liner, do not stir with a metal utensil, do not store or carry ice cubes and do
not store or carry carbonated drinks.
• If the Pitcher is dropped or mishandled the glass liner may break. The contents must not be consumed as
they may contain fragments of glass. The glass liner can be replaced.
• For safety, it is important never to drink directly from an insulated container as the content could contain
broken glass especially if there are signs of leakage.
• Do not use to keep milk products or baby foods warm because of the possibility of bacterial growth.
• Keep out of reach of children.

approved for use in contact with food. The Pitcher has the same Quality Guarantee as all Tupperware
products, which ensures you will receive a replacement if a product presents any manufacturing or material
defect during normal domestic use.
Please note: the glass liner is not included in the Tupperware Quality Guarantee.
Contact your Tupperware Demonstrator to purchase and replace the glass liner.
