    2 | Safety OPM BWT PERMAQ® Pico Rev. 2.0 EN 2.2 Intended use The reverse osmosis device BWT PERMAQ® Pico is used to desalinate water in drinking water quality water up to max. 30 °C and a max. raw water pressure of 6.0 bar. The pre-treatment of the raw water must always be checked by the contractual partner of BWT.

If the electrical equipment is interfered with during the assembly or installation of ma- chines and operating equipment from various manufacturers, a test according to the acci- dent prevention regulations must be performed prior to commissioning.

As long as an external request signal is not received, the countdown timer counts down the preset time and starts interval flushing. During interval flushing, permeate is not produced in the tank.

Test mode is protected by a password. NOTICE! Property damage due to improper operation. Alarms do not shuot down the device in test and inspection mode.

Over the device service life, deposits form on the concentrate side of the RO module, which gradually reduces the permeate output.
