To change the wheels for sowing wheel intended for large (thick) seed sowing /Figure
21/ it is necessary to follow the procedure presented below:
- unscrew the holder/catcher and remove the device together with the shaft for
technological path
- unscrew the fitting together with a bearing at both ends of the sowing shaft
and the catchers/holders/ of the sowing shaft,
- remove the sowing shaft,
- starting from the left end of the shaft/opposite end on which resilient stud of
the shaft connector with the gear box is installed/ the following elements must
be removed: bearing with its fitting, the original sowing wheel and
catchers/holders/ of the sowing shaft,
- put aside and keep the removed wheels together in one place,
- install the sowing wheels intended for large(trick) seed sowing on the shaft,
than the sowing shaft catchers/holders behind the eighth and sixteenth wheel
from the right side of the shaft, then bearing together with its fitting should
be installed,
- place the shaft on the sowing devices,
- screw the bearing fittings and the shaft catchers/holders,
- install the device for technological paths together with the shaft.
The final setting/regulation of the gear box and the number of seed intended for
sowing should be performed after the turning test is completed.
Values of doses given in the table of sowing are for reference only!
To perform correct regulations and adjustments, as well as the correct assembly and
disassembly of the sowing wheel and their functioning it is recommended that the
procedures should be performed by a qualified service workers or by the
manufacturer.
IMPORTANT!
When the sowing wheel intended for large( thick) seeds are going to be replaced for
the original ones it is important to remember that the sowing wheel for small seeds
/Figure 19, item 1 on page 31/ is installed from the left side of the wide wheel.
