If no pressure regulators are used, high pressure surges or high pressure operations can cause damage to drip tape. Regulators should be installed close to the field being irrigated. The regulators have springs to maintain a constant pressure, these springs can be changed to change the pressure.

They clean well water, or relatively clean water and work especially well for filtering sand out of water but are not recommended for surface water containing algae. We recommend a pressure gauge on the filter inlet and outlet to determine when filter is clogging and to avoid unnecessary cleaning.
