Replacing The Toothed Belt - Bosch Rexroth HQ 5/H Assembly Instructions Manual

1. Slacken the toothed belt.
2. Remove the roller track.
3. Remove the guide
rollers.
4. Remove the drive
bearing.
5. Remove the toothed
belt.
6. Install the new toothed
belt in reverse order.
7. Pre-setting the belt
tensioner:
– Turn the adjusting
screw until the setting
dimension X (guide
value) is reached.

8. The correct belt tension
then need to be set with
the frequency meter
(See page 44).
Practical tip:
Increase the belt tension
gradually (1 rotation at a
time) by turning the tension
bolt.
• Check using a workpiece
pallet if the belt is moving.
• Check if the rollers can
still be turned by hand, yet
still exhibit a noticeable
resistance.
