FW-NCCA5 Network Cable Conduit Adaptor
Installation Sheet

Description

The FW-NCCA5 is used to connect an Ethernet network cable
enclosed in 1/2-inch conduit to a desktop-mounted FWUL5
workstation. It is not required on rack-mounted installations.

Installation

Caution:
To prevent personal injury and equipment damage,
always unplug the computer before opening its cover.
Note:
Use an antistatic wrist strap or equivalent safeguard to
prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) when handling electronic
components.

To install the FW-NCCA5:

1.
Turn off the computer then unplug it from the electrical
outlet.
2.
Open the computer cover.
3.
Remove the slot 3 filler bracket.
4.
If you haven't already done so, remove the slot 4 filler
bracket then place the network card in the slot 4
connector. Press down on the network card firmly to
ensure that the card is fully seated in the slot.
5.
Place the tab at the bottom of the FW-NCCA5 into the slot
3 opening.
6.
Secure the network card and the FW-NCCA5 to the
computer case using the slot 3 and slot 4 retainer screws.

Tip:

Plug the Ethernet cable into the network card before
attaching the FW-NCCA5 to the computer.
