4.6 GROUNDING
Where common grounding equipment (nuts, bolts, star washers, cast ring lock washers, flat washers and the like) is
used to connect a listed grounding / bonding device, the joint must be made in accordance with the grounding
device manufacturer's instructions.
For grounding and connection requirements, please refer to regional and national safety and electrical standards.
If grounding is required, use a suggested connector type or equivalent for the ground wire.
If grounding is required, the ground wire must be properly linked to the module frame to ensure sufficient
electrical connection. (Grounding hole is illustrated in Drawing 4)
When the system operates in high humidity and high temperature conditions, transformer-based inverter is
highly recommended to reduce the risk of higher power drop rate.

5- MAINTENANCE
Clean the module glass surface regularly with clean water and a soft sponge or cloth. A mild, non-abrasive cleaner
can be used to remove stubborn dirt. Water with a high mineral content is not recommended when cleaning the
module.
To verify that they are clean, sound, undamaged and free of corrosion check the electrical, grounding and
mechanical connections every six months.
If any problems arise, consult a professional for recommendations.
Attention: Follow the maintenance instructions for all components used in the system, such as support frames
(construction materials), charge controllers, inverters, batteries, etc.
