Using the Battery Pack (continued)
Displaying battery level
Press the QUICK button while playing a disc. The
QUICK menu is displayed.
Select "Battery" from the menu and one of the following
icons are displayed in the left corner of the LCD screen.
: Sufficient amount left
: Fairly consumed
: Nearly exhausted
: Completely exhausted
When connected to an external input, press the QUICK
button to view the battery level.
Detaching the battery pack
1 Turn the player off.
2 Disconnect the AC adapter and the power cord
from the player.
3 Slide the battery pack's lock switch in the open
direction, then slide the player in the direction of
the arrow to remove it.

4 Close the connector cover on bottom of the
player.
Note
Do not detach the battery pack while you are operating the
player (while the POWER/CHG indicator illuminates in green).
About battery pack life
Battery pack has a duration life. When the playback time
becomes remarkably shorter, even if the battery pack is
fully charged, change to a new battery pack.
