B9 Scan 500 is an easily operated, high-precision, two axes 3D scanner based on structured light technology. It has an "open" casing configuration and it can handle big size models.

    For working at and with the machine, the operator must draw up written instructions in understandable form and give these to his employees in their own language. These instruc- tions must be based on the B9 Scan 500 Operating Manual and written considering the work to be performed.

LOCATION AND INSTALLATION The requirements for a correct installation are listed below: • The scanner must be placed on a solid, rigid and skid-proof surface (laboratory desks, racks) so that a horizontal safe position is ensured. The table should have a load bearing capacity of at least 80 kg.

    B9 Scan 500 Operating Manual Page21 7.2. SOFTWARE SETUP The B9 Scan application must have a valid software license in order to make the scanner operational. The license activation takes place at the end of the user registration operations to be performed at the first launch of the product.

    2. Turn on the scanner using the front On\Off switch button. After a few seconds, the projector should light up the rotary table with a B9 Scan 500 warm up sequence. When the warm up sequence is finished the scanner will be in idle mode ready for the operations.

    11.1.2. DUST FILTER CLEANING B9 Scan 500 optical group is equipped with a dust filter. It should be checked periodically and cleaned or replaced if required. 1. Remove all the USB, HDMI or DVI cables or other devices plugged to the scanner 2.
