Rotate the eyepiece so that the 24 mm mark aligns with the arrow on the barrel. This setting has the widest field of view, making it easier to find an object.

  • Page 17 Checking the alignment of the EZ Finder is easiest during the day. Look along the telescope’s tube to point the telescope in the general direction of an object ON THE GROUND such as a distant streetlight, top of a chimney, or a distant mountain peak. Turn on the EZ Finder using the power knob and turn the dial until the red dot is visible.
