MA 130420 Quick Start Manual

The MA Optoisolator PCB provides optical galvanic separation and enforcement of DMX 512 (1990)
input and output signal. Current boost is also provided allowing for longer cable runs.
In addition, the isolation also provides ground loop and shock hazard protection.

Check fuse if the Optoisolator PCB fails to function.
ERRORS may be caused by:
>NOTE: All DMX512 inputs and outputs must be shielded and the shielding must be con
nected to the ground of the corresponding plug.
The PCB has to be installed into a metal case and connected by a specialist follow
ing the valid electrical and EMC regulations.
This PCB is not a complete appliance and therefore a CE mark is not needed.
