Receiving Calls

When you receive a call, the ringer sounds and the
display and keypad backlight illuminate. The incoming
call icon (
) appears in the display. If you have
Caller ID, the caller's phone number is shown along with
the icon. The caller's name will also appear if the phone
number is found in your phonebook. The voice tag will
also be played if you have one recorded for that caller.
Press
to answer the call.

Note!
In some instances, Caller ID may send the caller's
name even if the name/number is not in your
phonebook. Caller ID could also block the
caller's name or number from appearing.
Silencing the Ringer
You can temporarily silence the ringer by pressing the
right softkey or the upper or lower side keys, and still
answer the call by pressing
