68 Lighting
Tail lights
The tail lights are illuminated together
with the low / high beam and the
sidelights.
Automatic light control
When the automatic light control
function is switched on and the
engine is running, the system
switches between daytime running
lights and headlights automatically
depending on the external lighting
conditions.
Notice
Do not cover the light sensor
otherwise the automatic mode will
not operate properly.
Make sure the sensor is not blocked.
Regulate the sensitiveness of the
sensor in the vehicle settings. For
further information please refer to the
Infotainment manual.

Automatic headlight activation
Turn the adjuster wheel in position:

During poor lighting conditions the
headlights are switched on.
The headlights go out:
● if the lighting conditions permit.
● if the ignition is switched off.

High beam

To change between low and high
beam, pull the lever beyond the
resistance point.

High beam assist

This feature activates the high beam
at night when the vehicle speed is
faster than 25 km/h.
Once activated, the high beam assist
remains active and switches high
beam on and off depending on the
surrounding conditions.
