2-6. Voltage Detector
1) General description
The XC61A Series is a voltage detector with high precision and low
current consumption that has been achieved by using CMOS process
and laser triming technology. It consists of high-precision and low
current consumption reference voltage source, a comparator, hyster-
isis circuit, and an output driver circuit. The detection voltage attains
high precision and minimun temperature drift. Two types of output
circuits, N-ch open drain and CMOS, are available. All these functions
in a mini-mold package attains space saving and high-density mount-
ing, thus making it best suited to hand held or compact equipment.

5. Low battery detection
The main battery voltage is detected in two levels. When the voltage
falls to the caution level, "BATT" symbol lights up. When the voltage
falls to the fatal level, the power is forcibly turned off.
