USING THE KETTLE Before the first use, fill the 1L / 34oz kettle with fresh water up to the maximum level and let the water boil. Discard water and repeat this process 2–3 times, rinsing out the inside of the kettle each time. - Page 8 3. Close the Lid and place the kettle on the Base. 4. Insert the plug into the power outlet and press down on the Power Switch to turn it ON. The light indicator will turn red to indicate that the water is being heated up.
