If you use this unit together with such equipment, interference
may make the image or sound noisy.
Especially with wireless LAN equipment such as a wireless
LAN access point or a wireless LAN supported PC, noise will
be made in the following cases:
A Due to the frequency in use
The frequency used by the wireless LAN equipment is the
same as (or close to) the one used by this unit.
B Due to the direction of the dedicated antenna
The dedicated antenna receives the signal of the wireless
LAN equipment.
C Due to the location of the dedicated antenna
The dedicated antenna is installed near the wireless LAN
equipment.
When noise is made, try the following remedies to
improve the reception and enjoy clear image and
sound.
A
Change the CHANNEL frequency to
select a better channel.
CHANNEL
Channel
Change the CHANNEL switch on the rear of the unit
referring to the table above, and set it to a better frequency
while monitoring the image and sound.
This prevents electromagnetic interference between this unit
and any equipment which uses the same (or close) frequency
as the one of this unit.
Make sure to set the CHANNEL switch of the transmitter and
receiver to the same position.

Adjust the angle and direction of the
dedicated antenna.
1
Turn the antenna (1) or antenna adjuster knob (2) to adjust
the direction and angle for optimum sensitivity while
monitoring the image and sound.
The antenna adjuster knob has a "v" mark to show the
reception direction, which can be adjusted for optimum
sensitivity.
Note
Depending on the electromagnetic conditions of wireless LAN
system or environment of this unit's location, directing the antenna
toward the transmitter may not always be the best way. Find the
better antenna angle and direction while monitoring the image and
sound.
C
Change the location of the dedicated
antenna.
Place the dedicated antenna as far as possible away from the
wireless LAN equipment, and install it at a better location
while monitoring the image and sound.
Keeping the dedicated antenna apart from the wireless LAN
equipment may prevent electromagnetic interference.
Important
• When many wireless LAN systems or equipment using the 2.4
GHz frequency are nearby, interference may not be reduced
even if the remedies above are tried.
• Interference may also occur to the image and sound due to
equipment other than wireless LAN equipment. In this case, try
the remedies mentioned above.
• It is recommended to turn off the wireless LAN equipment
while the wireless LAN system is not in use.
