Adjusting the Sound Quality / Selecting the On-screen Language
Surround
Select the Surround mode according to the type of
picture.

Select "Surround" with M/m and press ENTER.

Select the Surround mode with M/m and press
ENTER.
Off : No surround output
Hall : When desiring to give the stereo sound of
movies or music programs a greater sense of
presence.
Sim : When desiring to give ordinary monaural
programs or news telecasts an enhanced sense
of presence using simulated stereo sound.
Restoring the Adjust Sound Menu
Items to Their Original Settings

In the Adjust Sound menu, press M/m to move the
cursor (yellow) to "Reset" and press ENTER.
The following menu appears on the display panel.

Press M/m to move the cursor (yellow) to "OK"
and press ENTER.
The Adjust Sound menu items are restored.
To cancel the reset function
Press MENU before pressing ENTER. Alternatively,
select "Cancel" with M/m and then press ENTER.
Selecting the On-screen
Language
You can select the on-screen language from among
Japanese, English, German, French, Spanish or
Italian.
