    A P P L I A N C E D E S C R I P T I O N This appliance is an air cooler that uses water to cool the air. The appliance can be controlled with the control buttons and the remote control. The appliance has an automatic shutdown function that switches the appliance off after twelve hours of continuous use.

    I N S TA L L AT I O N To install the appliance: Place the appliance on a stable, flat, and moisture resistant surface. If you want to use the cool function, fill the water tank with water. To fill the water tank, see chapter Filling the water tank.

    Pull the water tank out of the appliance (see image C). 6 Fill the water tank with water only. Never fill the water tank with any other liquid and do not mix any substances with the water. Fill the water tank with water.

    A relative humidity of 40-50% is recommended while using the appliance. Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the appliance. The appliance switches on at medium speed and then switches to low speed. The corresponding speed indicator switches on. Press the ON/OFF button to switch off the appliance.

    To use the child lock function with the remote control: Press the MODE button to switch on the child lock function. The buttons of the appliance and the remote control are now locked. The child lock light lights up. Press the MODE button to switch off the child lock function.

    If there is too little water in the water tank (less than 1/4 of the tank), the pump switches off after 15 seconds. After another 5 seconds, the pump switches on again for 15 seconds. If there is still too little water in the water tank (less than 1/4 of the tank), a warning signal sounds.
