1.2 GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION The Resqtec equipment is designed to provide safe operation. All users should read and be thoroughly familiar with the operating instructions and safety precautions stated in this manual. Operator safety depends on users being properly trained by the Authority having jurisdiction and using the equipment for its intended purposes only. -

• If couplers do not have auto lock mechanism on the product, rotate collar of female coupler to lock and prevent accidental release. • Unroll hose reels to their full extend. USER MANUAL SPREADER X-SERIES 4.7 DISCONNECTING THE RESQTEC NEO1 COUPLER Rotate the NEO1 female coupler unlock ring in the direction of the arrow and pull backwards. Make sure the control handle of the product is not engaged when disconnecting (neutral position). -

USER MANUAL SPREADER X-SERIES 4.8 CONNECTING THE RESQTEC STD COUPLER Check whether the pump relief valve is in its neutral/release pressure relief position (with exception of NEO1). NEVER TRY TO CONNECT THE COUPLERS IF THE PUMP IS SWITCHED TO OPERATION. -

NEO1 male coupler which contains the pressure release valve. NOTE THAT A SLIGHT AMOUNT OF HYDRAULIC FLUID WILL EJECT AT THIS POINT! MAKE SURE TO WEAR PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. Rotate the control handle rightwards to close the arms. Keep the handle rightwards. BEFORE STORING THE PRODUCT, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO DEPRESSURIZE THE CYLINDER. TO DO THIS, OPEN THE ARMS WITH JUST A FEW MM BETWEEN THE SPREADER JAWS. RESQTEC MANUAL SPREADER X-SERIES (DM064K11) -

Many years of safe use is guaranteed if the product is properly cared for and maintained. To this end the product must be inspected at least once a year. This must be carried out by a service technician trained by Resqtec who possesses the necessary tools and testing equipment. -
