dard, this product will, if used according to these instructions, and
properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Used electrical appliances are secondary raw materials.
They must not be disposed of in household waste bins as
they contain substances hazardous to human health and the
environment. Hand over used electrical and electronic
equipment to a selective waste collection point.
INTRODUCTION
The Högert Technik laser rangefinder provides measurement of
distances, volumes and intermediate lengths.
The device is not a measuring device within the meaning of the
„Measurement Law".

SAFETY RULES

Before using the rangefinder, read the user's manual carefully.
The rangefinder's operation is based on the measurement
of the distance by means of laser radiation. Indoor use of the
rangefinder is recommended. Using the device as intended will mi-
nimise the risk of uncontrolled emission of laser radiation.
Do not point the laser beam at people or animals. The rangefinder
emits a wave length of 635 nm and a power of 1.0 mW. Pointing
directly at the eyeball can damage eyesight.
Do not disassemble the device yourself in order not to expose the
user to laser radiation.
Do not use in an environment where the ambient temperature is
outside the indicated range (-10 to 40°C). If stored at temperatures
outside the operating range, wait until the unit reaches its optimum
temperature before using it.
Do not expose the device to water.
In case of longer interruptions in the use of the rangefinder, remove the batteries from the device.
Clean the device with a soft, clean cloth.
