Where do we find EMFs?
High-voltage power lines, computer, television, microwave, washer/drier,
waterbed, electric blanket, mobile phone, vacuum cleaner, hair drier...
How can we reduce or avoid exposure to EMF's?
You can use the VTEMF to detect sources of EMFs, so you can reduce the
risks and limit your exposure. Read the tips below:
1. Use the electrical blanket to warm up the bed and turn it off when you
go to bed.
2. Heat water beds before you go to bed.
3. Do not place electrical clocks, fans, radios or answering machines too
close to the head of your bed.
4. Avoid placing a bed against the same wall as a refrigerator or fuse box.
5. Look at TV and computer screens from a safe distance.

Put the slide switch in the ON position. Turn around slowly while holding the
device in front of you so all directions are checked.
a.
A consistent reading of 1, 3, 6, 10 mG throughout the room suggests an
external EMF source (e.g. power lines).
b. Occasional peak values or so-called "hot spots" suggest an internal
source of EMF e.g. wiring or appliances.
c.
Aim the device at a suspected "hot spot" and slowly walk toward the
suspected EMF source. The red danger LED lights when you're getting
too close to the EMF source, the green safe LED is lit when it's safe.
d. A reading of 0.1 mG indicates a normal zone, 3-6 mG indicates a caution
zone, 10 mG indicates a danger zone.
e. The device is powered by one 9V-battery (not included).
