OPERATING MICROPHONE (MIC)
1. To make an announcement with the MIC:
TO ALL AREAS: Press ALL SPEAKERS TALK
button.
TO SPECIFIC AREA: Press all desired Speaker
Select buttons
TO AREA IN ALARM: Go to Step 2.
2. Remove MIC from enclosure and press MIC Talk
Switch.
Turns off any active tone or message.
3. Wait for Ready to Talk LED to go ON.
4. Make announcement.
Releasing MIC Talk Switch restarts tone or
message if alarm exists.
5. When finished, press the ALL SPEAKERS TALK
button and all activated Speaker Select buttons.
Replace MIC.
INITIATING EVACUATION SIGNAL
1. TO EVACUATE ALL AREAS: Press ALL SPEAKERS
EVAC button.
TO EVACUATE SPECIFIC AREA: Press all desired
Speaker Select buttons, and then press the
SELECTIVE EVAC button.
2. To make an announcement with MIC, see
OPERATING MICROPHONE (MIC) above.
3. Press ALL SPEAKERS EVAC or SELECTIVE EVAC
button when finished.
SILENCING FIRE ALARM SIGNALS
Pressing ALARM SILENCE key silences evacuation/tone
message and lights the ALARM SILENCED LED.
1.
To silence alarm evacuation signals, press the
Main Panel's ALARM SILENCE key.
USING LOCAL SPEAKER SWITCH
(Plays active tone/message on panel speaker)
1. Press LOCAL SPEAKER EVAC button.
2. When finished, press LOCAL SPEAKER EVAC button.

Actions taken during a fire depend upon local practices. Be sure you know what to do.
These Instructions shall be framed and mounted adjacent to the control unit.
(SINGLE CHANNEL AUDIO)
PHONE OPERATION
1. When remote phone is plugged in or remote handset
is lifted.
Ring signal is heard on handset.
Phone LED flashes at panel.
Tone sounds at panel. (Press Phone Piezo
Silence to silence tone without picking up
phone.)
2. Pick up master phone. To connect phone, press
Phone Circuit Switch next to flashing LED.
Handset ring signal turns OFF.
Phone LED turns ON steady.
Tone turns OFF.
3. Use phone as required. Repeat Step 3 if another
remote handset is lifted or phone is plugged in.
If necessary press the Phone Circuit button
selected in Step 2 again to put the phone on
hold. Reconnect a phone on hold by pressing its
Phone Select button again.
4. When finished, replace the phone on hook and press
the Speaker Circuit buttons.
Note: Remote phone must be unplugged or remote
handset replaced. If the remote phone is off hook more
than 10 seconds, panel tone resounds and LED flashes.
RESETTING THE SYSTEM
1. When the alarm condition has been cleared, restore or
replace all affected devices in accordance with the
instructions provided with the device (smoke detector,
motion sensor, etc).
2. Reset the system.
FIRE ALARM Condition. Press the
<ALARM SILENCE> key and then press the
<SYSTEM RESET> key.
PRIORITY 2 ALARM Condition. Press the
Priority 2 Reset key.
After a short delay the system returns to normal operation.
