3. InStALLAtIOn
. I nstallation may only be carried out by a skilled person and in accordance with the VDE regulations. Work only when there is no
electricity present. To ensure this, it is essential to switch off the circuit fuse. Check whether the connection lead is de-energised!
2. I nstall the timer on the DIN standard rail (top-hat rail) in the circuit-breaker board.
3. F or continuous voltage, now connect Phase and the neutral conductor to terminal +2 (Figure 2). The switching contact is a potential-
free changeover contact: Connect phase L to terminal 4. Terminal 3 is a NC contact (closed when switched off), terminal 5 is a NO
contact (closed when switched on), see Figure 2.
4. Y ou can now apply the voltage and begin programming.

4. PUttInG IntO OPERAtIOn

The timer has .5 V rechargeable batteries. Before putting into operation, the batteries must be charged. Press the Reset button of
the timer. You can then program the timer as described below. If you no longer need the timer, dispose of the installed rechargeable
batteries correctly at a collection point.
The week timer should be connected occasionally for at least two hours if it is not in use for an extended period so as to maintain the
capacity of the rechargeable batteries.

P ress down the H+ button for longer in order to run through the time quickly or advance by  hour each time you press the button. 3. M + button (proceed as described under 2.). 4. P ress the W+ button until the current day of the week is displayed. 5. Release the C+ button. 6. PROGRAMMInG tHE tIMER . P ress the π button. “ON” appears in the LCD display to indicate the start of switching. 2. S elect the day of the week by pressing the W+ button. It is possible to switch on and off beyond a 24 hour period within one pro- gram. Example: “ON” on “FR“ 7.00 ”OFF” on “MO“ 08.00 3. T he start of switching is set with the hours button H+ and the minutes button M+ (as described under SETTING THE TIM, points 2 and 3). 4. P ress the π button the designation “ON” goes out in the display and “OFF” appears. 5. T he end of switching in this program can be set as described in points 2 and 3. 6. P ressing the π button saves the entered data and the next program is activated.
  • Page 3 10. MAnUAL SwItCHInG This timer offers you the possibility of switching connected loads on and off manually. To do this, press the “MANUAL” button. The bottom bar in the display now jumps to from “OFF“ to “Auto” and then to “ON”. If the bar indicator is not at “AUTO”, the programs are not active. 11. UnUSUAL / nO DISPLAY It is possible that there will either be nothing shown in the timer display or that the display will be incomplete. In this case, press the Reset button and enter the programs and time again. 12. SAFEtY InStRUCtIOnS • T his timer is not a toy and must be kept away from children. • D o not apply more than 6A to the timer.
