- Page 4 Installation Applicable Models: 2016 & Up YXZ1000R/YXZ1000R SS These front speaker enclosures are designed to work with Rockford Fosgate’s RFYXZ-K8 amplifier kit and RFYXZ-PMXDK dash kit. NOTE: Some additional interior pieces were removed to make photography easier for documenting the installation process. The installation process is the same for both the passenger and driver’s side of the vehicle.
- Page 5 Installation Step 3 - Prepare Speaker Enclosures and Mounting Area Remove the pod and drill (2) holes in the firewall using a 5/16” and 1/2” drill bit. Temporarily install the speaker pod into the foot well area to mark the holes that will need to be drilled Next prep the speaker pods by drilling the holes in pods.
- Page 6 Installation Install using the supplied bolt through the top of the enclosure. The bolt Feed the speaker wire harness through the 1/2” hole. will go through the drilled 5/16” hole. Secure with the supplied nut. Apply the supplied foam sealing tape to the inside of the speaker enclosure Finish securing the speaker pod in place with the (2) bolts used earlier.

After testing, secure the wire harnesses with plastic wire ties and reassemble NOTE: After the speaker is secured repeat the installation process for the the vehicle.
