VIII. Fault Diagnosis
Fault
The external power supply outlet has no
power.
The power plug is not correctly inserted
into the socket or the line is cut off
No Power
The fuse is blown or there is no fuse.
Temperature sensor Pt100 is damaged
PV Display
Temperature sensor line issues
encountered.
The test scope of the vacuum oven is not
correct.
The SET value is too low.
The output circuit is falling off.
The temperature controller has NO
Temperature
output signal or is damaged or,
Not Increasing
the controller silicon is damaged.
The heater is damaged
(Short circuit, or open circuit)
The timing function or the setting is not
correct.
The output of the temperature controller
is out of control.

Possible Causes

Solutions
Check the lines are
connected correctly and
that the power outlet socket
tests as operational.
Re-insert the power plug
into the socket check switch
'ON' or repair the line.
Check the fuse.
Replace the fuse.
Check for a 'short circuit'.
(The power transformer,
heater, grounding, and
other short circuit types can
all cause a fuse break).
Check Pt100.
(0℃, 100Ω, 0.3Ω/℃)
Replace if required
Re-connect the lines again.
Re-set again.
Set temperature
SV≥RT+10℃
RT is environment
temperature.
Re-connect the lines again.
Replace the temperature
controller
Replace the silicon
Replace the heater
ST=0 or ST=(Heating Time
+Constant Temperature
Time)
3041 or BTA is damaged.
Replace it.
