The leftmost digit of the display shows the
information
address of the register and the other three
digits the recorded data.
The registers 1. . . 4 are set to zero by pressing
the push-buttons STEP and RESET simul-
taneously. The registers are also cleared by an
interruption of the auxiliary power supply of the
relay unit. The address codes of the relay
modules, the data transfer rate and the
password are maintained over an auxiliary
voltage interruption.

Display of the blocking mode (0/1). The rightmost figure of the register indicates
the blocking state. A figure 1 in the register means that the module is blocked.
The module is either internally blocked or blocked by the other relay modules of
the differential relay.
From this register it is possible to move on to the so called test mode, where the
blocking and tripping signals can be activated one by one. For further details
see description "General characteristics of C-type relay modules".

Address code of the differential relay module. The address code, which is
required by the serial communication system, is set to zero, unless the serial
communication system is used. A subroutine of this register is the selection of
the data transfer rate, and the setting of the password for the remote setting.
