SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Before operating, read and understand the
user's manual:
• Do not modify the unit in any way.
• Make certain that no inflammable
liquids, water, metallic objects or any
other foreign bodies enter the unit.
• Install the unit in such a position that it is
out of people's reach.
• The unit must be installed and connected
by specialized personnel.
• Mount the unit firmly on its support
structure, using appropriate screws or
bolts; it is also advisable to fix it to the
structure with a cable safety chain
(depending on the weight of each unit).
• Do not use in damp surroundings.
• Do not use in places subject to excessive
vibrations.
• Avoid places with temperature of more
than 40°C or less than 0°C.
• Avoid using the unit in dusty surroundings.
• For internal cleaning, contact a qualified
technician.
• To ensure good output, clean mirrors
and lens frequently.
• The outside of the unit must only be
cleaned with appropriate products.
• Do not open the unit for any reason.
• If any repairs are necessary, make
certain that they are only carried out by
qualified personnel.
• Qualified personnel carrying out repairs
or maintenance must always follow the
indications in the unit's manual (see
BLACK SOUND code K202
LUX SOUND code K206
"MAINTENANCE" paragraph).
• In order for its guarantee to remain
valid, all work carried out on the
product must be expressly authorized by
PSL or one of its appointed distributors.
MAIN FEATURES
Unit
Baby Star is a compact fixture complete
with an adjustable support bracket.
Entirely steel-built wiyh scratch-resistant
epoxy powder finish.
Function
K202 - K206 (Music-sync movement)
The fixture has a special factory-installed
program controlled by a built-in
microphone, which controls the beams
rotation.
K200 - K204
White beams of light forming a
moonflower effect sound-sync with wide
coverage.

50/60Hz.
• Lamp: 12V 50W HLX
already installed (code L103).
• Lampholder: G 6,35 ceramic.
• Easy lamp replacement (A+B).
• Motor: high precision a.c. motor.

• Reflector with white mirrors.
• Safety devices:
- 100cm power cable to CEI 20/22
norms;
- safety fuseholder.

MOUNTING THE
FIXTURE
The fixture has been designed and built to
enable it to be easily installed in any
position.
Just mount the sturdy yoke on a bolt using
a self-locking nut and tighten fully.
Connect a safety chain to the yoke.
Ideal installation height is 3-6 metres.
Always use the fixture in dry surroundings
unaffected by weather conditions.
Always connect the yellow/green cable to
the electric ground and earth any metal
support structure.
MAINTENANCE
Re-lamping:
• Should be carried out by qualified
personnel.
• Disconnect the fixture from the main
power supply.
• If the unit has been switched off, wait for
15 minutes to allow the lamp and
internal components to cool down before
proceeding.
• Use a screwdriver, to service or replace
the lamp, removing the screws (A).
• Remove the lamp by pulling outwards (B).
• Take advantage of this to clean the
mirrors.

General cleaning:
• Should be carried out by qualified
personnel.
• Disconnect the fixture from the main
power supply.
• If the unit has been switched off, wait for
15 minutes to allow the lamp and
internal components to cool down before
proceeding.
• Clean as often as the surroundings in
which the fixture is used require.
Use normal glass cleaning products to
clean the mirror and lens, always drying
the parts.
Periodically check the fixture's mounting
on the structure and the safety chain's
hold.
Check that the fuse is correctly closed in
the fuseholder (C) using a screwdriver:
high sound levels can cause problems.
To ensure that the fixture is in perfect
operating condition, it is advisable to have
it checked periodically by an authorized
PSL centre.
