Preparation for removing the PC card from the PC card slot
NOTE:
If the PC card is taken out of the PC card slot while Windows
95/98/98SE/Me/2000 Professional is running, the data saved
in the Memory Card may be destroyed. To prevent this, be sure
to observe the following procedure when taking the PC card
out of the PC card slot.

Double-click the PC card icon on
the right of the taskbar.
NOTE:
If the [Stop Standard IDE/ESDI Hard Disk Controller (PCMCIA
IDE/ATAPI Controller, for Windows
the mouse left button after clicking the PC card icon, go directly
to step 3 below.

Click the [Standard IDE/ESDI Hard
Disk Controller Socket] icon with the
mouse left button, then click [Stop (or
Quit)] with the mouse left button.
