Setting up and using Kiosk mode

Kiosk mode is a custom dashboard where you can control which titles a user can access while
using VIVE Focus 3. This is helpful for demonstrations, training, or certain enterprise
environments where full control of the headset might not meet organizational needs. To set up
and enter Kiosk mode:
1.
If you're currently running content, press the VIVE button on the right controller, and then
select Back to Lobby.
2.
From the Lobby, select Settings.
3.
Select Kiosk mode.
4.
Choose the settings appropriate for the Kiosk mode session.
5.
Select Enter Kiosk mode to start Kiosk mode.
To leave Kiosk mode, press and hold the headset button until you see a menu appear—
approximately 3 seconds—and then select Quit Kiosk mode. Enter your PIN if you have one.

Installing system and firmware updates

Keep your VIVE Focus 3 system and firmware up-to-date with the latest features or
enhancements. Your headset will check for updates periodically, or you can check manually.
Here's how:
1.
If you're currently running content, press the VIVE button on the right controller, and then
select Back to Lobby.
2.
From the Lobby, select Settings.
3.
Under General, select System update.
4.
Select Update to begin the update process.
Some updates may require restarting your headset.

Uninstalling content

Whether you want to free up space or no longer need it, it's easy to uninstall content. Here's how:
1.
If you're currently running content, press the VIVE button on the right controller, and then
select Back to Lobby.
2.
From the Lobby, select Settings.
