• The enclosed Ramp Tops exceed the strength of your planks. Planks may need reinforcement.
• Exercise extreme caution when loading or unloading your equipment.
• DO NOT exceed 700 lbs. gross weight per ramp.
• Ramps must be dry and grease free. Reese Explore Ramp Mats are available to purchase to improve traction.
• Replace worn, broken or brittle planks immediately.
• If loading or unloading from a vehicle, be sure the vehicle is parked with emergency brake ON and engine OFF.
• Park on solid, level surface.
• Ramp Tops must be securely positioned on loading surface while loading and or unloading.
• DO NOT ride or drive powered equipment up or down the ramp. Pull with winch or push.
• DO NOT attempt to load or unload power equipment with engine running.
• DO NOT leave ramps unattended when attached.
• Periodically check the Safety Strap and the sewn connections on the strap for any fraying or excessive wear.
• Make sure the strap cam lock is operating properly (dirt, oil, etc. build-up may cause cam lock to work less effectively).
• Use only Reese Explore parts or parts of equal quality for repair. Replacement parts are available through Customer Service-
(800) 234-6992.
• Store properly when not in use.
• Keep out of reach of small children.
• The attachment of this product is critical and beyond the control of Horizon Global. Horizon Global is NOT responsible for the
attachment nor the installation. It neither guarantees, nor will be liable for any damage resulting from its attachment or improper

    BEFORE INSTALLATION 1. Choose two new, clean (free of knots) planks of Douglas Fir. For Kits 9517500 and 9517700, use 2 x 8s or 2 x 10s (1-1/2" x 7-1/2" or 1-1/2" x 9-1/2"). For additional strength use oak planks.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS RAMP TOP INSTALLATION 1. After plank has been cut to proper length, insert plank into ramp top and mark holes for drilling. FIG 1. 2. Remove ramp top and drill holes using 5/16" bit. 3. Bolt one ramp top to each plank, using hardware supplied in kit. Carriage bolt with square shoulder under head will press into wood Correct installation will to prevent turning.
