    This insert to the MICROPULL V Manual replaces pages 20 through 22 (Section 6.00 through section 6.07.4) when the MP5 is used with Star NX-1001 printer. INITIAL SETUP PROCEDURE BEFORE CHANGING THE POSITION OF THE MP5 ON THE BENCH, ALWAYS REMOVE THE DEVICE HOLDER FROM THE BASEPLATE.

    PRINTER CONNECTION - Use the standard male-to-male RS232 Cable supplied with the MP5. 6.5.1 Connect one end of the cable to the RS232 Serial Port on the rear of the MP5. 6.5.2 Connect the other end of the cable to the Serial Connector of the Serial-Parallel Converter (SPC-8K).
