Maintenance

After you have finished clean the juice extractor
thoroughly to avoid the residue drying out.
The motor base housing should be cleaned with a wet
cloth and a small addition of a washing-up liquid.
Use a brush to clean the strainer, clean it in a running
water. Cleaning this part with your hand may result in skin
injury.
Do not use metal brushes to clean the strainer basket.
The other components (juice bowl, cover and food
pusher) should be cleaned after finishing the work in
a lukewarm water with an addition of a washing-up
liquid. Rinse them and dry. These component may be
also cleaned in a dishwasher at max. 60°C (except the
strainer).
Do not use aggressive detergents, such as emulsions,
polishes, etc, as they may remove graphic symbols
(marking, signs, etc.).
Dirt entrapped in corners and holes should be removed
with a toothbrush or a bottle-brush.
Take care of transparent plastic components,
which are sensitive to shocks and falls and
may be damaged easily.

extractor is subject to vibrations:
10
Switch the appliance off, clean the strainer from any
residue, empty the waste receptacle,
Replace the strainer in case of mechanical damage.
How to extract juice from fruits
D
and vegetables:
Remove stones from fruits as they may damage the juice
extractor.
Carefully wash the fruits and vegetables to be processed.
Wash berries directly before processing, as they quickly
lose freshness.
Extracting juice from plums, blueberries, raspberries and
soft pears is troublesome. The pulp of these fruits blocks
the openings of the sieve. You can process these fruits
by mixing them in small quantities with other fruits and
vegetables. In such a case the sieve has to be cleaned
more often.
E
While extracting juice from grapes, insert whole fruits
into the feeding tube, without the stem.
Cut bigger fruits and vegetables into pieces before
processing.
Insert the fruits and vegetables into the feeding tube after
switching on the appliance.
The nutritional value of the raw juices is similar to the
nutritional value of the fruits and vegetables, except that
the juice does not contain fiber which is removed during
juice processing.
Juice obtained from some fruits and vegetables
has a tendency to concentrate. This is due to
the characteristics of the used products and
it is not influenced by the juice extractor. The
obtained juice might not be clear, but this kind
of juice has the most nutritional value.
