Unlocking The Protection Guard
Take off small piece marked 'X' using scissors (carefully)
1)
2) Hold the top of handle with one hand and keep
the top pressed against the back of guard
3) Slide down the lock with your thumb from your
other hand or with both thumbs
Note: It may be a little stiff and take a bit of
getting used to. But this is a secure lock and
designed to stay locked when not in use.
Use both thumbs if required
4) Hold the top of the guard and remove the axe head from it
To Lock
Repeats steps above in reverse order
