Floor Polisher - Model VS12
PRECAUTIONS
- Before inserting the plug into an electric outlet, remove the
plastic protectors from the plate rubbers. (figure 2)
- Before plugging your vacuum floor polisher into a mains
receptacle, confirm that the pipe is in vertical position
and engaged.
- When plugging or unplugging the appliance, only grasp the
plastic part of the plug. Never pull on the cord as it
may be damaged.
- Do not pass the polisher over the mains cord.
- Do not touch plug or machine with wet hands.
- Do not use if the machine or the mains cord is damaged.
- Never wash or wet the dust bag (figure 3).
- Avoid suctioning solid objects like pins, paper clips, nails,
buttons, etc.
- Never wet or damp the machine and/or the cord. If it happens
by accident, do not plug or put in operation before having it
checked by authorized personnel at our Technical
Center (figure 4).
- Do not use on concrete floors, rugs, soil floors, or wet
or damp floors.

Important: Before connecting your vacuum floor polisher,
make sure that the mains voltage given on the technical
specifications label (fitted under the power unit) corresponds
to the mains voltage at your home.

OPERATION OF THE APPLIANCE
Once assembled, connect the appliance to an electrical outlet,
push downwards the handle and pull it toward you. It will start
automatically. To stop it point the handle vertically at its original
position where it will engage to crutch 6, where it will stop
(figure 10).
To switch from brushes to cloth pads (model VS12) unplug the
appliance, place it sidewise on a bench or table, with the
brushes pointing upwards; remove these, pulling with your
hand (figure 11). Replace them with the cloth pads pushing
these firmly downwards on the disks. Restore the appliance
to its normal working position.
