Thank you for purchasing the Jacarta interSeptor Pro-XP Environmental Monitoring System and sensors. This installation guide provides instructions for installing the interSeptor Pro-XP on your network. Before shipment, the unit must be completely switched off and unplugged and all connections must be removed. • Before connecting the interSeptor Pro-XP to the power supply, ensure that the rating of the power source is consistent with the rating of the power adapter of the interSeptor Pro-XP.

Password: admin 5. Select the General Settings menu option and then select Network Settings. From here, you can change and save the IP address of the interSeptor Pro-XP as required for your network. Remove the cross-over cable and connect the interSeptor Pro-XP to your network switch/router.

The relevant Alarm (1 or 2) should be configured as ‘Normal Open’ in the browser via the EMD set-up screens [Device Management/Device Configuration]. When smoke is detected, an audible alarm will sound and the interSeptor Pro-XP will be activated and the sensor’s alarm state will change from ‘Normal’ to ‘Alarm’.

Appendix I Dip Switch Settings for Daisy-Chaining interSeptor Pro-XP Temperature/Humidity Sensors Should you wish to daisy-chain/cascade your Temperature/Humidity Sensors (up to a maximum of 8 sensors per chain), please refer to the following table for the appropriate dip switch settings.
