Required core drill motor In order to operate the core drill rig, a LISSMAC core drill motor must be inserted into the core drill rig. Motors from other manufacturers must correspond as far as possible to the recommended LISSMAC motors in terms of dimensions, weight and power.
The warning notices in this manual are not universally complete. Lissmac cannot foresee every potential hazard. Use common sense when dealing with machinery and equipment. Appropriate safety rules and precautions with respect to working methods and operation must be implemented, as with any other machine.

Warning and safety notices: Read the operating manual Wear hearing protection Wear safety goggles Wear gloves Wear a protective helmet Wear work boots Wear suitable work clothes and wash dusty clothes Remove the power plug before working on the machine Wear dust protection mask (for dry drilling) Wait for all parts to stop moving.
Intended use The LISSMAC Core Drill stand is used as a guiding and fastening aid for a LISSMAC Core Drill Motor. A LISSMAC Core Drill Motor with a diamond core bit approved for it must be used for drilling. The operating manual of the core drill motor must be observed! The core drill stand is exclusively intended for commercial use.
3.3. Personnel choice and personnel qualification; basic responsibilities Only qualified personnel 18 years of age or older may operate the machine independently. All personnel must be trained in the operation and be explicitly authorized by the company to operate the machine. Make sure that only authorized personnel works at the machine.
3.4.2. Commissioning Read the operating instructions before commissioning. Wear personal protective equipment. Ensure that the foundation where the drilling is done meets the load carrying capacity. All obstacles must be cleared away from the drilling area and make sure there is sufficient lighting. It must be ensured that no power or telecommunication lines, gas or water pipes, are located in the drilling area.
During service and repair work, always tighten loose bolt joints! Lissmac Core drilling motors may not be used for overhead drilling. 3.4.5. Moving the core drill stand Moving the core drill stand may only be used when disconnected from power.

TRANSPORT Notice Before transport the core drill motor must be removed from the core drill stand. Lock the carriage in place before transport. COMMISSIONING - ASSEMBLY AND SETTINGS 6.1. Securing the core drill stand 6.1.1. Securing using drop-in anchors Warning! Securing using drop-in anchors is only allowed in concrete.
6.1.2. Securing via threaded rod & lock nut Warning! If the substrate is unsuitable for drop-in anchors, a threaded rod M12 (Pos. 1) together with a large washer (Pos. 2) and self-locking nut (Pos. 3) at the back of the wall can be used to secure the drill stand. ...
6.3. Assembly of the core drill motor Warning! The core drill motor must be disconnected from the power source before installation, cleaning and servicing! Support UNIVERSAL-Connector 1. Lock carriage in place at suitable height (Pos. 1) Carriage Mounting plate / 2.
6.4. Set column tilt Notice Lower drill pressure must be selected for drilling at an angle to prevent the core bit from leaving the intended trajectory. For shallow angles, the use of spot drilling aids to center the core bit is recommended. 1.
For dry drilling the use a face mask and suitable dust extraction unit is mandatory Distance A for recommended drop-in anchor placement: CDR 200 = 280 mm (Center clamping collar) CDR 250 = 250 mm (Connection plate) CDR 251 = 260 mm (Connection plate)
USE OF ACCESSORIES 8.1. Wheelset If necessary, a set of wheels can be mounted to facilitate transport between sites. CDR 200 CDR 250 / CDR 351 (standard) • Place mounting bracket (pos. 1) on the base plate and fasten with enclosed screws (pos. 1+2).
MAINTENANCE Warning! Always unplug and dismount the core drill motor from the stand before maintenance. Before each use Daily Visual inspection for recognisable damage and deficiencies Check bolts for tightness and tighten if necessary. Check guide column for wear and damage ...
10.1. Adjusting the carriage guides Over time, the clearance between the guide and the support may develop. To avoid vibration and damage, the clearance must be as small as possible. Guide rollers adjustment CRD 250 CDR 351 Loosen the screws Place the rollers on the guideway by hand, check (Pos.
TROUBLESHOOTING Warning! Always unplug the core drilling motor before troubleshooting. Problem Possible cause Remedy Carriage does not run smoothly Stand and guides are dirty Clean, Lubricate Check levelling screws and quick clamping Vibrations during Operation Stand is loose spindle to be tightened. Play in carriage guides Readjust rollers or glide pads.
