- Page 5 4. Close the enclosure cover. 5. Connect the USB cable to the USB port on both XPacket Storage Device and the computer. To install the Firewire IEEE 1394 cable connection please see step 9. It is recommended to install the USB or Firewire IEEE 1394 separately.
- Page 6 Press O to switch off, press I to switch on. Connect the power cord to the power socket to complete the hardware connections. 8. Turn on the power on XPacket Storage Device and wait for the computer to recognize the newly added hard drive. A slow computer may take several min- utes to respond the recognition.
