Put down the date of first use of the
composite air filter and deodorizing filter
on the label (lower left side of the label)
on the rear of the unit.
While the room air is clean, insert the
power plug into a wall socket.
The sensors record and set the pollution
level of the indoor air when the power plug
is inserted as the standard level.
Plug the unit in when there is little for the
sensors to detect.(  page 7)
Remove the cover and set the
sensor switch.
Pull the clip to remove the cover.
The sensor switch is normally set to "Lo".
If you feel that the sensitivity is too low,
set it to "Hi".
Press the composite air filter reset switch.
Use a thin item such as a toothpick to press
the reset switch.
When the reset switch is pressed, a "beep"
will sound and the unit will start to calculate
the composite air filter operation time.
The composite air filter replacement
indicator will come on after about
5 years.(  page 19)
Place the tabs (2) on the cover into the
holes (2), and press the cover in until you
hear the clip click into place.
Press the Power Off / On button.
The air purifier will operate in "welcome mode"
for about 3 seconds.
(The air quality monitor and the panel
indicators will come on.)
Welcome mode is displayed only when
plugging in the power plug and
pressing the Power Off/On button for the
first time.
